History
GeniePad was born in 2009 due to the simple fact that we wanted more of our condominium living - something was missing....
After purchasing our first condominium properties we were excited – after all, being a property owner brings great pride to oneself. After some time we quickly realized what condominium living was all about. Although the living itself was great we didn't really know what was happening in our community. We began to find out from other residents that they felt the same. There was no convenient access to important information, no way to communicate, and we all felt disconnected even though we lived in a small community.
We tried to find an existing solution. Although we found a few that seem to promise the world, they turned out to be a huge disappointments as they did not deliver on their initial promise – they had too much functionality, difficult to use, and administer. As a result, we decided to create our own and utilize our experience and expertise to create something that would not only satisfy our needs but also the needs of others – a product that is simple, informative, elegant, and easy to use.
Once we implemented our custom solution in our buildings, we started to receive interest from property managers, owners and board members. After countless conversations over email and telephone, we started hearing that our condominium website and communication portal is the missing link in their communities. We decided to turn our solution into a product that benefits thousands of users and at that point GeniePad was born.
